Keep in mind that you must work or be paid for the scheduled day before and after the holiday in order to receive your holiday pay. This also applies to punching in late or leaving early and includes your lunch period as well.
If the day before or after the holiday is scheduled for overtime or any additional hours, you must work the hours that you are scheduled. If you are using paid time to cover your schedule, before and/or after the holiday, then you will have met the requirements for holiday pay eligibility for that day or days.
